The Customs Department will continue to do its utmost to do what is necessary to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
In addition to the introduction of the electronic processing of the gate passes, the Department would like to inform all Economic Operators that with immediate effect, which will then become mandatory as of Wednesday, 1st April 2020 until further notice, all the other remaining services provided by the Customer Services Unit including the processing of the Transhipment Bill (TSB) and requests for refund of duty would need to be requested via email address [email protected]
Furthermore, since coronavirus survives on surfaces for a number of hours, processing of the Intrastat declarations will no longer be carried out instantly. Instead, they will be processed and ready to be collected within the following 72 hours.
