Reference is being made to the notice issued by the Department regarding the electronic issuing of the gate pass out for full load and groupage consignments.
Some Economic Operators are sending their requests for the issuing of the gate pass out of the same container more than once in a matter of few minutes. This is unjustly putting undue pressure on our Customs Officers resulting in backlog. We are doing our utmost to reply within a reasonable time, but please, refrain from submitting the same request more than once.
Additionally, the email subject for the request of the gate pass out should include the Local Reference Number (LRN), Container Number and status (T1 or C). e.g. 20201603412345/TTNU1234567/T1
