Apology for system downtime
by Matthew Cesareo | Sep 24, 2020
The Customs Department would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during the past 48 hours and appreciate your patience. Although a significant improvement has been registered during the last couple of hours, we are working consistently with our provider to ensure that the affected systems are restored to their normal operation.
In the meantime, perishables and other consignments considered as urgent may be released against the docs to follow procedure as long as a duly filled manual SAD document and all supporting documents including clearances from other entities where required are produced. In this vein, you are kindly required to contact the respective Head of Section.
Gate passes may be issued for all C-status consignments, against the presentation of their respective T2L. Manual gate passes may also be issued for T1 consignments where the declaration has already been processed and a proof of payment produced accordingly.
