11th July 2013 – Customs intercepted another container full of contraband cigarettes at the Freeport. It arrived from the Persian Golf destined to another European country. The container was officially declared to be carrying 682 boxes of outdoor lanterns but it was carrying 10,590,000 contraband cigarettes.
