The consistent detection by the Customs Department of narcotic substances arriving by mail persists.

 

While sniffing inbound packages at Malta Post, Officer Ted and Officer Żekkin, reacted positively to packages which, on examination, it transpired that both were stuffed with narcotic substance. Officer Ted positively reacted to a package arriving from Switzerland and, within minutes, Officer Żekkin did the same to a package arriving from Italy.

 

Both packages were referred to the police Anti Drug Squad for further investigations.
