Last week, for the third consecutive week, Customs officials at the postal office in Qormi, assisted by the Canine Unit, flagged three packages of narcotics:
- the first two packages arrived from the Netherlands, where the packages were found to contain seeds, weed and white powder;
- while the third package, arriving from Switzerland, was examined by Customs Officials and found to contain suspicious substance, following sniffer dog Stan’s immediate reaction.
All three cases were handed over to the Police Anti-Drug Squad for further investigation.
