As from Friday, 1st October, 2021, the gate at Ħal Far Groupage Complex will remain open for twelve uninterrupted hours, from 7:00 till 19:00, all year round.

For this reason, Customs Assistants stationed at Ħal Far Groupage Complex, shall be working on a shift basis, while an additional Customs Assistant is being stationed at Ħal Far Groupage Complex, performing office duties together with an additional Releasing Officer.

This is another trade facilitation measure employed by the Customs Department which, together with other measures planned for the near future, will provide all economic operators with the possibility of optimising the facilities at Ħal Far Groupage Complex.

Meanwhile, as from Monday, 20th September, 2021, through a Legal Notice published in the Government Gazette, Fuel Wharf in Kordin, has been declared as a legal landing place and is now being controlled by Customs on a 24/7 basis.
