All Hal Far Groupage Operators and agents are to note that the following goods should always be unloaded and warehoused at Hal Far Groupage Complex and NEVER at Agents' or importers' other premises:
- All Groupage trailers/containers containing T1/T2/T2LF/X - status goods (to be later Customs-cleared against a Customs entry);
- All Groupage containers containing C-status goods arriving by Non-Regular Shipping Service (to be later cleared against proof of status T2L document or invoice not exceeding EUR 15,000);
- All so-called "harmonised" c-status excisable goods arriving as groupage (i.e. alcohol & alcoholic beverages, manufactured tobacco and energy products) [to be later cleared against a Customs entry].
Even temperature-controlled Groupage Reefer Trailers/Containers containing T1 goods will have to be unloaded and inspected/tallied at Hal-Far Groupage Complex only and no special permissions to unload at other premises will be granted by Customs anymore. For this reason, the Department has installed four 3-phase power socket points at Hal-Far Complex (for 4 ReeferTrailers) located next to the former Nuctech-scanner's reserved area to provide operators with this connection whenever required.
Non-harmonised c-status excisable goods must also be Customs-cleared prior to delivery, against an entry or through the "docs. to follow" procedure (if warehoused at Hal-Far Complex).
For ease of reference, a list of harmonised excisable goods is being produced hereunder.
