18th November 2013 – A Spaniard was sentenced to 11 years imprisonment, and fined €23,000, after found guilty with bringing into Malta over a kilogram of heroin.

15th November 2013 – A Maltese woman, who in March 2013 was intercepted with 551 undeclared songbirds, was fined €4,650 by the court

21st October 2013 – A Romanian man was jailed for 14 years, and fined €25,000, for conspiring to bring into Malta a kilogram of cocaine worth €45,000.

16th Oct 2013 – The Court has ordered the destruction of 52,826 pairs of counterfeit shoes and 736 items of counterfeit sport clothing.

10th October 2013 – The Court has ordered the destruction of 63,840 bottles of counterfeit shampoo.

3rd October 2013 – A 24 year old Slovak man was jailed for nine years, and fined €25,000, after being found guilty of entering Malta with 780 grams of heroin.

10th August 2013 – A 39 year old Columbian woman, who resides in Spain, has been arrested after she arrived in Malta on a flight from Madrid and found carrying 250 grams of cocaine inside her body.

5th August 2013 – A 24 year old Nigerian national, who resides in Trieste, Italy, was arrested after he was found carrying 500 grams of cocaine in capsules in his stomach.
