The Warehouse Identification number provided by the Customs Authority has the following format:
C 845003 MT
Number is split into three; the first letter is the Warehouse Type, 6 digits form the Warehouse number and the last two letter are the Authorising country.
Warehouse Type [Conditional]
| Warehouse Type | Description |
| A | Public Customs Warehouse under responsibility of the warehouse keeper. |
| B | Public Customs Warehouse under responsibility of the depositor. |
| C | Private warehouse other than D and E |
| D | Private warehouse where release for free circulation by local clearance. |
| E | Private warehouse where arrangements apply. |
| F | Public Customs Warehouse operated by Customs Authority |
| Y | Non-customs warehouse. |
| Z | Free zone or free warehouse. |
Authorising Country [Default]
Authorising country is the EU Member State which has approved the warehouse.

Warehouse Identification [Mandatory]
The 6-digit number provided by the Warehousing Unit must be entered along the Warehouse type and Authorising Country.
